Review of The Big Gundown (1967) by Bjorn O — 11 Oct 2007
When viewed in its original, uncut, form--this is an outright classic! When viewed in its chopped-up form (the 80 minute version as quoted here)..it is merely entertaining. This brilliant film sports an amazing score by the always great, Ennio Morricone.
..is expertly directed by Sergio Sollima...and has spot on performances from all the cast (with Lee Van Cleef and Tomas Milian being extra good!).
