Review of The Big Chill (1983) by Codie E — 17 Mar 2008
I have a real thing for character led ensemble films that look at human relationships that may be short or long lived. And this is one of the best examples of this. It succeeds so much because of its simplicity; one main setting and no real set-pieces.
Everything works so well together, from the actors' chemistry, to the soundtrack and the editing and production design. Incredible and deeply inspirational stuff.
