Review of The Big Chill (1983) by Nathan M — 21 Jun 2014
A classic film, filled with an ensemble of top notch performers. So much of the film is devoted to these former college buddies sitting in a living room, reminiscing about their recently deceased friend, and their past together, but that's the charm.
The characters are all troubled, fallible people. Many may have trouble with how self-involved and narcissistic the characters are, but I enjoy the realism: people are screwed up and make mistakes, just like these characters.
