Review of The Big Blue (1988) by Srdjana J — 22 Mar 2008
If I could bring Jean-Marc Barr home with me I would. At least I have him on DVD. The movie is magical, exploring the world below the surface. Rosanna Arquette's airy-fairiness contrasts well against the life long love and competition between Jean Reno and Jean-March Barr.
I too would prefer to live under the water. The Peruvian flute throughout the film is eerily enchanting.
