Review of The Big Blue (1988) by Rosie R — 28 Nov 2013
One of the best movies I ever watched. Wonder how come I didn't watch it sooner. It was both a good laugh and deep and sad at the same time. The ocean as the symbol of deep world and the female character the symbol of mundane life.
He chose the ocean at the end and went down where his father and his best friend went one day. The mixture of Luc Besson (for director) + Eric Serra (for musician) and Jean Reno (for actor) is nothing but awesomeness.
