Review of The BFG (2016) by Steve K — 12 Aug 2016
Spielberg softened the darker side of Doald's story to make it appeal to a children's audience. I almost fell asleep twice. There was very little real emotion captured. Most of the dialogue was disinteresting.
There were a couple of scenes that were amusing with the Queen in the last 20 minutes. This will appeal to a small group that are fans of the book.
