Review of The BFG (2016) by Charley G — 26 Mar 2017
It should been a box office BFD, but audiences instead ignored Spielberg's latest. Too bad because at times it recaptures the magic and wonder of his Amazing Stories. Admittedly, BFG's vocabulary takes a while to get used to since it's more or less a phrasing hybrid of an obnoxiously affectionate couple's pillow talk and Snoop Dogg's rhymes.
