Review of The BFG (2016) by Joan B — 11 Jul 2016
This is a sweet movie. However, it had a LOT more potential than was realized The BFG and Sophie are are good characters and their interaction is very nice. The movie seems to "cut to the chase" rather than develop the plot.
The background music is AWFUL; cartoon-ish and distracting. The children(and a lot of the adult men) in the audience enjoyed the farting scenes. I am disappointed that that the movie lacks the "magic" I expected.
