Review of The BFG (2016) by Damian D — 17 Jul 2016
The BFG is the newest Spielberg movie and though it isn't his best it's still an acceptable movie. It has what every Spielberg movie has great performances ( especially from Mark Rylance and Ruby Barnhill), terrific direction, and terrific visuals that really shine in this movie and keep it solid (same with the performances).
Reason I say keep it solid is because it drags for quite a portion of the movie and you can't help but say "yeah I get it can we move on now." But all in all it's an acceptable family friendly movie that is both fun and visually dazzling.
