A bit crude at times and with an overly simplistic storyline. There are a few fun moments here, but they are few and far between. A movie made from the Beverly Hillbillies doesn't have to be deep, but this one never even considers going beyond the concept of what a bunch of hillbillies would do with tons of money.
Yes, that's the idea of the series, but if that was all they ever did in every show, it would never have run 9 seasons.
