Review of The Best Years of Our Lives (1946) by Terry L — 18 Nov 2007
The best photography next to Citizen Kane of that era.. The story was told in the creative essay style before that form of story telling came in vogue. The aftermath of war was shown in all its' brutal truth, that there is no happy ending.
People just learn to live each day with their physical and mental scars.
