Review of The Best Years of Our Lives (1946) by Chris M — 12 Jan 2009
Genuinely sweet and touching post WWII heart warmer with a realistic sense of how we interact as humans to one another. Given it's time period, it's alarmingly frank. It has a great sense of humor that will really make you chuckle.
The actors make it all look so easy. While a little on the long side, The Best Years of Our Lives is a must see Pro-America movie that is so important in times like these. It's movies like these that make me proud to be an American, living in the best country in the world.
