Review of The Best Years of Our Lives (1946) by Anthony V — 11 Dec 2015
There is a reason why this film is on so many best of lists. Even today it's like a gut punch and even more poignant than ever. The story of Veterans coming home from war to adjust with various degrees of competency with the story of Homer Parish (played by Harold Russell) enough to break any heart (that isn't special effects folks, he's a real war hero).
