Review of The Best Offer (2013) by Marcel L — 24 May 2013
A dramatic romantic movie staring Geoffrey Rush he plays an auctioneer that lives in a world of fine art and is in love with his art work an infatuation of sorts sorta like having OCD for his female art pieces.
This movie is quite breathe taking with the art work that is on display and the scenery is quite gloomy but you get taken into the world. It is like reading a very descriptive novel by a great author. Although a movie that is slow but the pace it takes is quite intentional and is worth the length of the movie. The cast overall play their roles to a tee.
All I can say is you gotta watch this and you will not be disappointed the twists and turns you will not see what lays beneath the next bend.
The only other thing I have to add its not for the kiddies.
