I liked the story until the end. It should have had a happy ending. So I guess Dawson didn't die on the rig because he was meant to save her son's life? Is that why a gunshot wound to the right shoulder killed him when getting blown off the rig and being in the water for 4 hours didn't? It has to be believable and this wasn't.
Too bad because I enjoyed the actors and the acting.
