Review of The Best of Me (2014) by Opo O — 25 Oct 2014
This film had some nice moments but somehow it didn't all come together. First the younger male lead looked nothing like his older counterpart,( I preferred him) this pretty much ruined it for me. Second, the changes from the present to past didn't quite work, I usually love that type of plot.
Third, it was very contrived and just felt disjointed overall. some of the acting was not that great. Michelle M is very beautiful and I wish she had played the younger role also, she is a good actress and gave the best performance imo.
