Review of The Best of Me (2014) by Kaitlyn V — 07 Apr 2015
This movie was absolutely terrible. I am a sucker for cheesy romance movies but yet I could not even start to see through the bullshit titled "The Best of Me". This movie not only was so predictable in all of the horrid obvious romance goop, but none of the characters were even slightly developed.
I felt no attachment to either of the main characters and they instantly fell in love then the third time they hang out they are throwing out I love you's like free candy? This awful movie could only get worse by the likes of a dumb "plot twist" ending where the badass cousins somehow find the main character and attempt to kill him but by the grace of god he survives only to be like "yay I did it, I escaped the train!" To have the train move out of the way and his psycho father shoots him dead blank from the other side of the tracks.
Moving quickly to the married lady's almost dead son who we don't know- this movie was a total disaster and even worse than any Paul Blart movie i've ever seen. Aka i've never wanted to physically injure myself because of a movie more.
