Review of The Best Man Holiday (2013) by Kyle M — 02 Dec 2014
"The Best Man" sequel gets bolstered by the effects of the themed Christmas spirit through a pleasant reunion of the characters re-delivering what they'd delivered in the predecessor: having returned good characterization with better humor and more heart. The good-natured atmosphere was sort-of strained by discomforted trust issue and how the reunion was approached by few. Even though the situation gets better, it's sadder with an additional situation that brought an emotional resonance - seemingly a method that was developed for a reason for the storyline and having the better performances to be justified as they are.
This sequel of a 15-year reunion for the holidays at the right timing is better with some improvements to the drama when enjoying it more than the preceded romantic dramedy. (B+).
