This movie is all kinds of awesome. dolly parton is just amazing and my lips quivered as she sings 'i will always love you', as someone else commented burt reynolds at his studliest, terrific song and dance, bit of t&a, the fact that you could film musical numbers in the texas capitol (i waz there!!), great production design, and a soul as sweet as pecan praline.
