A feel-good movie with a cross-cultural theme, formulaic storytelling, uninteresting storylines and a top-notch cast who made the most of their otherwise stereotypical characters. The predictable resolution of the conflicts of the plotlines is really what brings this down.
As if the clichés and melodrama that pervade the entire film weren't enough! This definitely failed to bring anything fresh beyond its title, but it sure has its moments nonetheless. (5.
