A magical beautiful film that gives me hope about growing old. The first thing I'd like to say is this movie is beautiful, start to finish with a quirky prevailing sense of humor that through all it's ups and downs makes you happy to live on gods green earth.

Secondly, the cast here is a well balanced mix of some amazingly familiar faces doing what they do best. Judi Dench, Bill Nighy and Maggie Smith provide endless laughs and make it really easy to identify with these sometimes cantankerous people in the golden years of their life.

Sonny's character was so vibrant and full of life that I think it is quite literally impossible to walk out of this movie without a smile on your face. A treat for those who like the odd character study with a definite indie flare.
