I loved this movie but then I do love British movies and TV. An all star cast - Bill Nighy, Tom WIlkinson, Judi Dench, Penelope Wilton, and the incomparable Maggie Smith - as a group of elderly British ex-patriots (they go to India because of their poor financials) with the love-stricken Dev Patel as the owner/manager of The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.
The characters don't know each other prior to their trip but they manage to become involved in each other's stories. Some fall in love, some fall out of love, some find their first true loves.
Just enough drama, just enough comedy, just enough romance. In my opinion, a just right movie.
