This came out of left field for me. The night before, we watched Oz the Great and Powerful; the next day we watched The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. Between the two, I kept thinking about this one!

It's about some senior citizens from England who go to India for various reasons and end up staying at this run down hotel. Each had a story that was rich in depth. Having done some travel overseas myself, the sights, the smells, everything overwhelms the senses. Same for most in this troop.

I've wondered who can come up with a story like this. I was surprised that it was not nominated for a Best Pic Oscar, as it was as good as those I saw. Great sound track that I've been humming ever since.

For a movie with a bunch of older people in a foreign country, it's not a sleeper.
