This is truly an actor's movie. While the premise isn't very interesting and some of the stories are a tad bland, every one of these veteran actors in the ensemble cast invests you in their lives and experiences.
Special props to High Court Judge looking for forgiveness Tom Wilkinson, struggling hotel manager with big dreams Dev Patel, and misguided racist Maggie Smith.
