The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel can be occasionally schmaltzy and is climatically predictable; but it's an uncommonly sweet, oftenly funny, poetic and insightful character piece elevated by excellent performances from it's well-cast ensemble and captures the magical wonder of India through it's beautiful, spirited music and dazzling imagery.
