I had high hopes for this movie as Rob Schneider can be either super hilarious (Hot Chick, Deuce Bigalow) or completely lame (the Animal, Deuce 2 ). Benchwarmers unfortunately was the latter. There were only three funny parts in the whole movie and the rebirth of Napoleon Dynamite sucked.
The actor just played the same character as in ND but was so boring and unfunny. What really kills this movie is that it's a FAMILY MOVIE. Happy ending, positive message and all the wholesome BS that stifles creative comedy and in particular Rob Schneider' and David Spade's genius.
Don't see this movie. It's a waste of time and money and talent.
