Absolutely my least favourite Greenaway in terms of how - and can you imagine this of a Greenaway film? - generic this all looks and feels. No Nyman, no Vierny there. No fiery ambition. If you have watched some of his more obscure and deeper stuff and ever wondered what he would be like if he made more "mainstream" films, this is it.
