Review of The Belko Experiment (2017) by Ty H — 26 Mar 2017
The Belko Experiment was overall a BIG disappointment. This movie was a movie I was really looking forward to see. A lot of stuff was just out of place and lots of problems. "SPOILER ALERT" The biggest problem with this movie is the filler. They have lots of filler scenes. They focus on this girl the entire movie shes an off character and then at the end she just gets shot that's it. Mike and Leandra relationship felt pointless, there was no back story. One part of the movie was when Mike just stabs the back of his head with a knife and Leandra just starts saying stop, why does she care?
So, at the end they say now it's time for stage 2. So, they're making another movie it looks like. Well this movie to me seems like just a cash grab that's it. The movie idea is cool I guess. The best character in the movie is Barry. He's the only one with a reason for killing people, His wife and children need him. His idea is to kill people who are under 60 and don't have children. A problem with this movie is how in like 5 minutes of the movie just out of nowhere you just hear the voice over the intercom with no character setup or anything. This movie was all over the place people just die, there's a guy who just starts spilling water everywhere going room to room spilling water WHAT IS THE POINT OF THIS. It honestly just felt like a half-ass film really, I'm just so disappointed with this film. The ending was just like this film pointless. When I left the theater, I thought this movie deserved 2 stars but now after rethinking this movie it gets a one.
