Review of The Belko Experiment (2017) by Brian S — 10 Jul 2017
It is, after all, a movie that studies social behavior in humans and our nature, but it's just covered under so many liters of gore that it makes the film look like just another brainless gore film.
And while the execution isn't very good and the story may not make sense to some, as well as the bloodshed, which is too excessive, even for my tastes, Greg McLean does an alright job as director and the film has a bit of building tension during the first 20 minutes, but unfortunatly fades once everybody starts killing each other.
So, overall, it's an okay entry in the horror genre and it's worth a look if you're, either a fan of bloody movies, or of McLean's other movies.
