Probably a better idea on paper then what the finished product accomplished, "The Belko Experiment" will draw a lot of similarities to "Battle Royale". Where the film falls flat is non memorable characters, lack of originality, and a plot that stretches very thin.

"The Belko Experiment " relies heavily on audience curiosity as to who will survive and whom is behind this? The motivations of some of the characters quickly going from semi believable to nearly insane in a matter of minutes it seems.

I'm very surprised that James Gunn wrote and produced this. "Guardians of the Galaxy" should be a better movie and it is. But I expected more from James Gunn. This is worth a rental at best I'd say and even then I'd have reservations suggesting it.
