Review of The Believer (2001) by Whitney S — 04 Jul 2007
Great film. It shows the power of faith in this man's life, how he went against his upbringing and his religion, but realized in the end that his Jewish roots were too important to him to give up. I think it had a message for everyone, not on a religious level but on a upbringing level; to remember what your parents and elders taught you and to believe in it.
To take your own experiences in life and pull your own thoughts and beliefs on them, but to still listen to your roots and your upbringing because that is instinct. A very interesting and thought provoking movie.
