Review of The Believer (2001) by Mark W — 12 Oct 2011
Somewhat uneven, tragic movie about how ones faith can be conflicted within oneself. Ryan Gosling is a Jewish skinhead, and plays the part well, as usual. The most mesmerizing scenes, to me, were his defending the Torah when his fellow skinheads, unaware of him being Jewish, were trying to destroy it.
Very interesting movie...
