The Beguilled is a beautiful showcase of directorial profficiency, in the way Sofia Coppola creates a film that isnt only beautiful in a visual sense, but also in the way it explores crucial relationships between characters living in a the perfect location for isolated and visceral conflict, in which the drama reaches lunprecedented levels of psychological suspense.
