Review of The Beaver (2011) by A T — 20 Jan 2012
At times The Beaver is way to pretentious. Everything wrong seems to fall on this family and the cliches never stop. The film does not end kindly (actually the climax was hilarious!) but I do give Yechin some credit here because most of the film's drama actually falls on him to pick up rather than Gibson or Foster.
Not a great film, but just to see Gibson fight himself? Priceless.
