Review of The Beaver (2011) by Carol K — 24 Oct 2011
This film makes one actually want to feel sorry for Mel Gibson. He portrays a father losing a battle to depression very well and makes the audience forget about his off screen antics and shows us what he does best, with flashes of the same brilliance that made him so great in The Patriot as a struggling father.
Cue in a top notch job by Jodie Foster and push in Anton Yelchin as the wanna be rebel teen son. Good film.
