Review of The Beaver (2011) by Lysann B — 01 Nov 2011
That a film about depression could be a joy is now proven by Jodie Forster's "The Beaver". Mel Gibson is marvellous, the story touching, but maybe the rough style of photography will not be everybody's thing.
Nonetheless, if you're willing to look into a depressed face you will be rewarded with a film with substance.
