I didn't want to see this movie, mostly because of the people involved (COUGH Gibson COUGH). But I kept hearing all the great reviews, so I gave it a go. And damn! Excellent performances by everyone, but especially Gibson.
Once The Beaver appears, and you get past that this "character" literally comes out of nowhere, this movie takes you on a ride. Talk about a mental breakdown. I can't believe I'm saying this, but it sucks Mel won't get an Oscar for this because of all the crap he's done in the past.
