Review of The Beaver (2011) by Séan D — 29 Nov 2011
I watched the special features first which may have been a mistake...I grew less interested in watching the film. Finally I watched the film and I say it is an original film, not one that I really liked or enjoyed but an interesting film especially in how they portrayed Mel talking while the Beaver was talking, I guess he wasn't supposed to be using ventriloquism.
His vice-president was uncommonly compassionate, given that she might have taken advantage of her boss's weakness. The subplot with his eldest son and a girl he liked was quirky and unusual and it was nice to see, if fictional, a beautiful and popular girl going out of her way to meet a studious "nice" guy.
7 out of 10.
