Review of The Beaver (2011) by Vitor R — 16 Jan 2012
Despite being big fan of jodie Foster, the bizarre story line coupled with the casting of Mel Gibson put me off wanting to see this movie. While captive recovering from surgery I figured I'd give it a look - and maybe it's the painkillers at work, but I REALLY liked this movie.
Foster captured just the right tone to make it all believable and Gibson's performance was excellent - he really brought the Aussie speaking alter-ego puppet to life and made me forget about his real life crazy antics for a couple hours.
