Review of The Beaver (2011) by Mark Andrew N — 22 Jan 2013
Anyone who thought that Mel Gibson had also lost his acting skills after his alcohol-crazed anti-Semitic episode several years ago would be proved wrong after watching The Beaver. In this Jodie Foster directed film, Gibson sheds light on mental illness as someone desperately trying to claw his way back to some sort of normalcy.
This is a touching film and does not drag...its tail (had to say that one). Anyone curious about what Mel Gibson is up to or wants a film dealing with depression should watch this. Give a dam.
