Review of The Beaver (2011) by Victor L — 28 Jun 2013
An odd story that nobody wanted to make, but Foster, and the final result is an interesting and complex film that shows the strange redemption of a depressed man and how he recovers his life and family little by little.
I can understand why this film flopped domestically, it wasn't because of people's hatred for Gibson, it was because The Beaver is a hard movie to like and recommend, but fine after all. Mel Gibson is excellent in this, he deserves an Oscar nomination, which I doubt will happen.
