Review of The Beaver (2011) by Eric K — 22 Jul 2013
This movie wanted to be American Beauty. Alot of the same vibe but it lacked too many things. Mel Gibson is no Kevin Spacey, Jodie Foster is used too sparingly, the writing is at times very good, but too often is trying too hard.
I can see where the concept was but it just didn't deliver and at times just plodded along leaving me wanting.
