Review of The Beautiful Truth (2008) by Chris S — 12 Jan 2011
Here's the thing, and this is coming from someone who has heard and researched the Gerson Diet in the past: there's some stuff that's missing from this. Primarily, any hard evidence and clinical trials. In the science world, any medical research is essentially useless to humans until it's gone through a series of clinical trials. There were no reverse sides to this belief, thus making it one-sided. Furthermore, the narration and production value was just crappy. The way they present their facts through use of "the boy" and his drawings almost dumbs down what they're trying to achieve.
That being said, there's a lot of good information for people out there to here held inside this 91 minute documentary. And anyone interested in learning more about alternative therapies, especially for cancer, should definitely check this one out.
