Review of The Beastmaster (1982) by Rohan E — 28 Jul 2007
If you're not someone who is able to look past the standard lower budget movie of the '80's, turn away now. Once you do look past it though, this is an excellent movie. Marc Singer does an excellent job as a confused hero, while Tanya Roberts does an excellent job at being the T&A for the movie.
Rip Torn is who I base all my crazy evil guys off of to this day. The story's a firm variation on your classic lowly bred guy has special ability, rises to power type movie. Nothing special really, but very well done.
Plus, you can't beat a tiger painted black.
