Review of The Beast Within (1982) by Lotti K — 10 Oct 2008
Cheesy 80s horror movie is actually a lot of fun, with a surprisingly intriguing story, colorful Southern atmosphere full of odd characters, and some pretty cool creature and gore effects. Not a masterpiece by any means, but an entertaining B-movie that delivers what you'd want from a movie like this.
Les Baxter's old-fashioned score - his last - is one of his best.
