The Beach is the kind of film you start watching, and truly have no idea where it's going to end up, but I love Danny Boyle and Dicaprio, so I had to check it out. While I didn't love it or anything, it is mostly an enjoyable watch, but I could never sit through it again.
There are some shocking scenes of violence that take you by surprise and the cinematography is gorgeous! It's not a film for the masses, but it is always intriguing and Dicaprio carries this film on his shoulders.
