Review of The Beach (2000) by Emily T — 07 Dec 2010

Starts out with strong potential as a tourist in Bangcock(LOL), who hears about a private beach and wants to find adventure. Then it takes a nosedive into elephant shit. The movies philosophy lurches into it's own ass and leo goes commando on the island which was hilarious to watch him bomb it.

It's like the writers got confused after leonardo lands on the beach and decided to say "hey lets show leonardo go batshit crazy, the fan girls will love that!". The whole thing also felt like an anti-marijuana commercial considering people die over weed of all things.

I wouldn't recommend it but it's enjoyable to watch the film plummet.
