Review of The Baytown Outlaws (2012) by Leon B — 22 Mar 2014
Review:
I quite enjoyed this hillbilly tale of 3 brothers taking a job which turns out to be full of twists and turns. The acting was great by the cast and the storyline was well put together by the director. The different characters made the movie interesting and the storyline is unpredictable and original in some ways. The various assassins which are after the trio were well put together and Billy Bob Thornton made me laugh. In all it's a great road movie with action and a touch of comedy throughout. If I explain to much about the storyline it will spoil the movie so give it a go. Enjoyable!
Round-Up:
I haven't seen any of the trio before so I can't really comment on there previous movies, but they put in a good performance in this one. I especially liked the brother that couldn't talk, because he was a proper nut case when it came with dealing with certain assassins. The reason why I gave this movie a to was because of Billy Bob Thornton, who usually makes quite good movies but he has seemed to have gone out of the limelight lately. He's not in the movie that much, but when he's on screen, he cracked me up. A Great Watch!
Budget: $4million.
Worldwide Gross: N/A.
I recommend this movie to people who are into there action/thriller/comedy movies about 3 brothers getting hunted down by assassins. 6/10.
