Review of The Bay (2012) by Jordan R — 28 Sep 2012
One of the more haunting horror films I have seen for a while and also the best found footage movie I has seen up to this point in time. I liked how the director chose to use multiple media sources to make up his film instead of just sticking with one character who never turns off his camera.
The combination of interviews, home movies, and other videos gave the movie a very realistic feal, and the special effects and gore were not over used. Found footage movies are usually not my cup of tea, but this movie shows that when this style is used well, it can be very effective.
