It does what made Contagion so good: it scares you with the realism and precise possibility of this fiction becoming fact. The Bay reminds us that we can never be 100% clean and sanitary, and that we really should watch how we treat our economy.
Although it has an anticlimactic and sudden end, the film follows a few shocking, albeit convenient, twists.
